We are assisting our client, a rapidly growing media and telecommunications company, in hiring a Bookkeeper to bolster its finance team. With headquarters in Switzerland and operations spanning five countries, the company delivers premium broadcasting and content distribution services through an advanced network of over 40 satellites and global fiber infrastructure.

About the Role

In this role, you will join a collaborative international finance team. You will be responsible for executing core bookkeeping activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting intercompany accounting.

The company is looking for a detail-focused and ERP-proficient team player who enjoys hands-on financial operations and is comfortable navigating multi-currency environments.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile bank transactions across all company entities (multi-currency).
  • Manage and reconcile credit card transactions across the group.
  • Record vendor invoices and issue customer invoices.
  • Perform intercompany and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Post journal entries and manage month-end tasks such as provisions and prepaid expenses.
  • Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation, and reconciliation.
  • Conduct monthly profit and cost center analysis (e.g., revenue, travel, employee costs).
  • Assist in payment processing and invoice collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with global team members and external accounting providers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in ERP (Priority) and adherence to internal controls.

Requirements

  • MUST : 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • MUST : Experience with multi-currency bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • MUST : Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.
  • MUST : Strong computer skills, including Excel and accounting tools.
  • MUST : Fluent English required
  • MUST : 2+ years of experience in international or multi-entity environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Priority or equivalent).
  • A Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
