Wabtec Transit Brakes & Couplers, a global leader in train braking systems and couplers, is hiring a Bogie Brake Product Manager (m./f.) for several possible European locations, including France (Paris Area, Tours, Amiens), Italy (Piossasco), Germany (Leipzig, Munich, Dortmund), UK (Derby, Doncaster), North Macedonia (Skopje), Czech Republic (Plzen).

How will you make a difference?

As Bogie Brake Product Manager, you will work with an interdisciplinary team of sales and marketing, product engineers, sourcing, product quality, and other functions to deliver best-in-class quality for the backlog, and to create the product roadmap for the short and long term, ensuring that we keep an adequate balance of Technology Push (to ensure that our products set standards and continue to surprise and inspire our customers) and Market Pull (to ensure we deliver on what customers expect).

You will own the product catalogue for Bogie Brake (its definition, maintenance, and continuous improvement) and you will contribute to defining the rules and processes for the product catalogue management.

What do we want to know about you?

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
2. 10+ years of experience in product management or related functions
3. Preferably a strong understanding of the railway market, particularly bogies and bogie-mounted equipment
4. Knowledge of Agile methodologies
5. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
6. Ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment
7. English Fluent (other European languages appreciated)
8. Willingness to travel
9. Authorization to work in E.U.

1. Conduct market analysis and engage with customers
2. Develop business cases and product plans
3. Oversee product development from concept to launch
4. Collaborate with engineering, quality, sourcing, and operations teams
5. Monitor product performance and implement improvements
6. Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders
7. Ensure standard products meet tender and project needs
