Job Description

Grafton Horeca, a specialized team within Gi Group Spa, is seeking a Bistrot Supervisor for a luxury bistro-bar opening in Venice. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a stimulating environment that values teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the Director in organizing activities, scheduling, and managing the dining staff;
2. Welcoming guests, managing service at tables, and providing assistance according to quality standards;
3. Preparing mise en place and setting up workspaces before and after service;
4. Taking orders and engaging with guests about menu items;
5. Ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service;
6. Addressing guest requests, considering dietary needs, and collaborating with kitchen staff;
7. Communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations;
8. Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the area.

Requirements:

• Experience, even brief, in similar roles within hotels or restaurants;
• Knowledge of coffee and dining service;
• Fluent in English;
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and attention to quality standards;
• Passion for the hospitality sector and meticulousness in task management.

Additional Details:

• Work schedule: 5 days/week, full-time (40 hours), single shifts;
• Contract: 1-year fixed-term with potential for permanent employment, salary and level to be evaluated based on experience;
• Location: Venice, VE.
