Chiesi seeks a Bio-analytical Scientist to develop, validate and optimize analytical methods for protein-based products within the Global Product Industrialization team. You will collaborate with Global TechOps to ensure analytical excellence supporting quality and scalable manufacturing.

The role requires 8 years of lab experience with protein-based products (or 5 years with a PhD) and a degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

In this role you will develop and validate analytical methods for protein-based products within Chiesi’s Global Product Industrialization team. You’ll collaborate across Global TechOp&S to ensure end-to-end analytical excellence that supports quality and scalable manufacturing. You will tackle method development, optimization, and troubleshooting to enable robust product characterization. • Degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation (UV, ELSD, MALS, fluorescence detectors; SDS-PAGE; capillary electrophoresis; immunochemical methods (Western blotting, ELISA); enzymatic reactions; UV spectroscopy; mass spectrometry)
• Data analysis and statistical evaluation
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• Chromatographic techniques with UV/ELSD/MALS/fluorescence detectors
