Thales Alenia Space is seeking a Bid - Proposal Manager in Italy to coordinate the bid team and ensure timely, high-quality proposal deliverables. You will assess alternative solutions, help define make/buy strategies, and supervise compliance across proposal elements.

The role requires a degree in Economics or Management Engineering, strong leadership, and excellent English. A performance bonus is available, with a gross annual salary in the mid-range for this market.

Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We are looking for a Bid - Proposal manager.**The resource will be involved in:*** Contributes and ensures the coordination of all Work Package Manager (WPM) activities for the preparation of the bid and the initial project baseline which will be transferred to the Project Manager.* Contributes to the assessment of alternative solutions* Contributes to the identification of customer selection criteria and hot buttons* Contributes to the definition of the Make/Team/Buy strategy and for the involvement of KIP, the Industrial & contractual strategy* Supervise the Compliance status of all proposal elements, ensuring proposal schedule is respected* Identify the supply chain to set up for the projectIn support of the Capture Leader and together with the Sales Manager – and KAM if relevant: * Support preparation of internal documentation for Gates approval* Manage and plan the activities of the Bid team focused on the preparation and writing of the proposal and associated documentation* Define the proposal template, list of annexes, and documentation—in line with the customer request and sales policy* Prepare storyboards and mockups* Ensure coherence among various elements (programmatic, financial, technical), reflected in the various volumes and contributions (e.g., supplier proposals)* Ensure the proposal schedule is met* Support Red Team organization and manage feedback and reworking activities**Requirements for the position:*** Degree in Economics or Management Engineering* True team player, enjoying working within a multidisciplinary environment* Demonstrates accountability by taking full responsibility for tasks and decisions, ensuring transparency and reliability in delivering results* Strong coordination skills and ability to lead teams* Excellent command of English. **Permanent**Experience: 1-7 YearsCCNL Met/Ind – B2 Category€ 35.884,96 - 43.126,00PERFORMANCE BONUS (PDR)**:** up to 4.025€At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
