Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Bid Manager to join our Headquarter based in Milan. The Bid Manager is responsible to oversee the development and submission of proposals, acting as a linchpin between Sales and the assigned bid team, to ensure that all submissions are comprehensive, competitive, and timely.
This position requires managing cross-functional teams, ensuring the quality and compliance of all submissions, and engaging with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
This role will also involve analyzing bid performance and contributing to the professional development of the bid team through introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance and processes.

Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
  1. Coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, managing the interactions with internal departments to ensure they meet Client specifications and deadlines.
  2. Collect costs and input from internal departments (System Engineering, Installation, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Planning, Legal, Insurance, PM, Risk, Document Controlling, etc.) for the preparation of the authorization gates as foreseen in the tender process (Tender Price Approval - TPA).
  3. Analyze tender documents to understand Client requirements and ensure compliance in all aspects of the bid.
  4. Organize and coordinate bid meetings to outline timelines, assign tasks/deliverables, and set deadlines for team members involved in the bid process.
  5. Edit and proofread bid documents for accuracy, completeness, and clarity, ensuring they are of high quality, free of errors and compliant with the main tender requirements.
  6. Manage the bid submission process through the appropriate channels, ensuring all electronic and hard copy submissions are formatted correctly, complete, and delivered on time.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
  1. Fluent in English.
  2. Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics or Scientific disciplines.
  3. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  4. Professional understanding of templates, macros, and styles.
  5. Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  6. Time management/Result oriented.
  7. Willing to work cross-functionally in a complex corporate environment.
  8. Pro-active and collaborative.
  9. Able to work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.
  10. 2 to 3 years working experience in a medium-large worldwide organization.
  11. Knowledge of basic Project Management concepts.
  12. Previous experience working with CRM software.
