Role: Bid Application Support

As a Bid Application Support team member based in Torino, you will join the Tender Management team located in Geneva, which includes a Product Owner and a Business Analyst. Your responsibilities will include providing first-line support to our global users, guiding them through product usage, and troubleshooting technical issues.

You will also interact with our Tender Management solution vendor, escalate user-reported bugs, create support tickets, and follow up with the vendor's support team. Additionally, your role involves regular interactions with the development teams responsible for providing data to the Tender Management platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide accurate product information and support for the Tender Management platform to users worldwide.
  2. Collaborate with the Geneva-based team to resolve technical issues and enhance user experience.
  3. Work with development teams to ensure the delivery of expected data to the platform.
  4. Engage with the vendor to escalate bugs, create support tickets, and follow up on issues.
  5. Assist in the integration and maintenance of the platform within the internal ecosystem through manual testing.
  6. Conduct training sessions for users.
  7. Create and maintain documentation to facilitate user understanding and platform utilization.
  8. Monitor system performance and address potential issues proactively.
  9. Perform product maintenance and configuration tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in a software QA tester or help desk role, preferably in a software company with a global setup.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, including input parameters, payload, JSON, and XML.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn about freight procurement and the Tender Management platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with keen attention to detail.
