Company :

A leading European provider of advanced battery energy storage solutions (BESS) is expanding its commercial footprint in Italy. With a focus on supporting grid stability, renewable integration, and energy transition goals, the company delivers high-performance storage systems tailored for utility-scale applications.

The Role :

My client are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead BESS sales efforts in the Italian market. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and driving full-cycle sales with developers, EPCs, and utilities.

  • Lead the sales process for utility-scale energy storage systems, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with major stakeholders, including executives, procurement professionals, and technical leads.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop a robust sales pipeline aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Keep a pulse on policy changes, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform business development tactics.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and technical teams to ensure product offerings meet client needs and support tailored commercial proposals.

The person :

  • 5+ years in energy storage, renewables, or power infrastructure sales
  • Experience selling technical solutions to EPCs, developers, or utilities
  • Knowledge of Italy’s energy sector and procurement processes
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Strong commercial acumen and willingness to travel
