  • Job Purpose
  • The resource will join the Italian Business Development and Marketing team and will support the Firm by developing the Italian business strategy and priorities aimed at retaining and further developing the client portfolio and expanding the market positioning of the Firm towards key stakeholders (clients, prospects, legal market, financial community).

  • Key Responsibilities
  • The resource, reporting to the Italy Business Development, Marketing & Communications Manager, will be responsible for the following activities:

    • Managing BD activities for the Practice Areas of the Firm, including: Pitching & Proposals (production of pitch documents and managing administrative aspects of Italian public tenders), Capability Statements, League Tables.
    • Acting as the BD go-to person/responsible for coordinating specific work streams aligned with the Global and Continental Europe strategy.
    • Implementing strategic analysis to support Practice Areas origination and client relationship progression.
    • Monitoring the legal market, clients, and activities to identify potential opportunities and trends.
    • Supporting deal reviews in collaboration with relevant Managers or Partners.
    • Managing and updating BD databases.
    • Handling legal directories and submissions processes.
    • Coaching junior team members (if any).
    • Working closely with the Italy BD & Marketing Manager and collaborating with the global BD team.
