The project aims to carry out the following research activities:
a. Development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms for the on-board analysis of X-ray/gamma-ray data
b. Optimization and porting of algorithms to edge computing/on-board computing architectures
c. Participation in the integration, testing, and validation of the analysis software system and experimental development
d. Support for analysis activities
PhD in Astronomy, Physics, or Engineering, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad;
alternatively, a Master's degree or single-cycle degree in Physics, Astrophysics, or Astronomy, combined with a scientific-professional background suitable for conducting research activities.
