Job Description:

Le Bar Louis Vuitton, in the heart of the most famous square of Taormina, is looking for a Bartender.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. Each bartenders primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Fulfill the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards and procedures
• Welcome customers entering the bar area and maintain a friendly atmosphere. Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries

OPERATIONS AND STOCK:

• Plan, organize, and control the operations of a bar
• To monitor stock levels, paying particular attention to use-by-dates on perishable goods, and order replacement deliveries as required.
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies

GENERAL:

• Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Bar Manager
• Brings suggestions for improvement
• Notify Head Barman any time a guest is not completely satisfied with their experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous de-luxe Hotel & bar experience in the same position
• Fluent in English and Italian. Third language preferred
• Good product knowledge
• Very presentable and well groomed
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both with guests and colleagues
• Detail and guest care oriented
• Career oriented
• Seasonal contract according to Italian law "C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi."
