Job Description: Bartender

Our jobs aren’t just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the look-out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts, but also hosts of the space. Their role extends beyond the bar to broader guest service and ownership of the experience. Bartenders will use their knowledge and expertise to ensure the bar looks and functions flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and deliver on our guests’ needs. They should be passionate about guest service, detail-oriented — from handling money accurately, providing information to guests, to ensuring the quality of drinks.

Critical success factors include creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around, and performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting (up to 25 pounds), reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Performing these duties well is essential to serve our guests and support our business effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.
