BAR MANAGER

San Clemente Palace, Venice Bar Manager oversees Clemente Bar, Sunset Bar, and Pool Bar venues, which offer traditional and signature Italian cocktails. The Bar Manager manages all staff, reports directly to the F&B Director, and is responsible for daily operations, financial performance, and overall success.

Responsibilities include :

  • Motivating, training, and supervising all bar staff
  • Ensuring compliance with San Clemente Palace's quality standards, policies, and procedures
  • Managing efficient and profitable operation of the outlets while maintaining high standards in food, service, health & safety, and reputation
  • Conducting staff training and development
  • Ensuring staff have excellent knowledge of cocktails and guest service
  • Maintaining grooming and hygiene standards
  • Handling guest complaints according to hotel standards
  • Providing special attention to VIP guests
  • Ensuring proper setup of tables and service stations
  • Familiarizing staff with billing procedures
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a bar management role within a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Proficiency in Italian and English; knowledge of a third language is a plus
  • Degree in Tourism or Hospitality
  • Deep knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverages
  • International work experience
  • Attention to detail and excellent guest service skills
  • Charismatic, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team
  • Good IT skills, especially with Micros system
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
