Armani Hotel Milan, a 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of the famous Milan fashion district, is seeking a Bar Manager to join our Food & Beverage Department.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Select, train, evaluate, develop, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and service standards are met. Be visible in operations, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle guest, client, and group concerns or special requests.
  2. Describe and ensure the quality of all food and beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  3. Work closely with the Operations Manager to design an effective beverage menu and wine list, ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price. Create drink lists based on seasonality and current mixology trends, respecting company beverage cost guidelines.
  4. Generate and analyze monthly menu engineering reports, taking proactive steps to maintain profitability based on the results.
  5. Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination between departments.
  6. Contribute to meeting the financial goals of the bar by controlling labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control.
  7. Maintain the concept and position of the Bamboo Bar within the community and stay informed about industry trends and competition.
  8. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE
  • Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, strong work ethic, and people-management skills.
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in a similar position; five years preferred.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • College degree preferably in bar, restaurant, or hotel management, or equivalent experience.
