Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Banqueting & Events Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, from corporate conferences and trade shows to social gatherings and weddings. You will ensure that all aspects of the event run smoothly, delivering memorable and high-quality experiences for clients, attendees, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Develop detailed event plans and timelines, ensuring all logistics, timelines, and objectives are met.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high event quality.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, decorators, audio / visual providers, and event venues.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistical aspects of the event, including transportation, accommodations, and scheduling.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their event goals and provide recommendations and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of event staff, ensuring that tasks are delegated and deadlines are met.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Assist in the creation and execution of event marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, social media promotions, and guest invitations.
  • On-Site Event Management: Oversee on-site operations during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from registration to event closure.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Collect feedback, analyze event success, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
