Job summary

Eurizon Capital is seeking an intern to support the High Income team within the Investment Department in activities related to portfolio monitoring and management of assets.

During the internship, you will assist in quantitative analysis, setup of investment processes, and research on High Yield opportunities, contributing to client and internal presentations while gaining exposure to an international fixed income platform.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting is required.
• English language proficiency expected for communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office and financial modelling tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide quantitative and analytical support to Fund Managers in the High Income team.
• Assist in setup, evaluation, execution, and management of investment lifecycle for new issues and secondary transactions.
• Conduct fundamental research on High Yield transactions and relative-value analysis.
• Track bond spreads and price movements of securities in portfolios.
• Prepare periodic sector updates and daily market information and client/internal presentations.

What you'll be doing

During the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to support the following activities:

• Provide quantitative and analytical support to Fund Managers investing in funds managed by the High Income team within Credit Strategies.
• Participate in the setup, evaluation, execution, and management of an investment's lifecycle through new issue and secondary transactions.
• Perform fundamental research on High Yield transactions and relative-value analysis to reach investment conclusions and make recommendations.
• Track bond spreads and price movements of securities held in portfolios.
• Produce periodic sector updates and daily market information, as well as ad hoc client and internal presentations.
