An established industry player is seeking a skilled Baker to ensure the smooth operation of their Bakery Shop. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the production, quality, and presentation of bread for daily menus, while adhering to health regulations and company standards. Your expertise will contribute to minimizing waste and maintaining cleanliness, ensuring that the bakery meets all operational requirements. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bakery Shop and daily production according to company policies.
Responsible for the production, quality, and presentation of bread to be used in daily menus.
Assist the Head Baker in preparing production forecasts and recording leftovers to minimize waste and control food costs.
Help set up bread displays in various buffets.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Public Health rules and regulations and ensure compliance daily.
Maintain cleanliness of the bakery as scheduled by the Executive Chef, using proper methods to prevent equipment damage.
Prepare the bakery for any scheduled or surprise USPH inspections by management or inspectors.
Handle requisition and transportation of items from main stores to the bakery when assigned.
Ensure recipes and yields meet company standards.
Assist the CDP Baker with completing daily consumption reports as required by the Executive Chef.
Be knowledgeable about and comply with ship’s standard operations to assist guests and crew with inquiries.
Attend meetings, training, courses, and other work-related activities as required.
