Your role :

To strengthen the Midrange System Unit, we are looking for brilliant professionals to join the infrastructure team, specifically within backup solutions.

The ideal candidate will experience a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve technological and business objectives.

Your duties and responsibilities

1. Design and implement backup solutions to meet business needs
2. Configure, manage, and maintain backup systems
3. Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities to ensure stability and reliability
4. Collaborate with development teams to ensure integration of backup solutions with other technologies
5. Support security team to mitigate vulnerabilities or threats
6. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and changes to backup systems

Additional tasks may be assigned as your role expands.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

• Degree in computer science or engineering
• Knowledge of VEEAM, IBM Spectrum Protect, or Commvault backup solutions
• Knowledge of VTL technology (Falconstor), Tape solutions (STK, Quantum, IBM), Repository (Data Domain, ECS, S3)
• Proficiency in scripting solutions (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) for support and troubleshooting
• Good competence with SAN and TAN (Container VEEAM, Spectrum Protect directory containers, HDS storage containers, DELL storage containers, CISCO MDS)
• Certifications in Backup or OS technologies are advantageous
• Excellent command of English
