Your Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and evolving cloud-native solutions. You will help drive the Technogym ecosystem, which includes gym equipment, mobile and web applications, and third-party integrations. You’ll use best practices in software development to deliver scalable, highly available, and secure cloud services.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using C# (.NET) and Node.js.
• Architect and manage cloud-native services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and security to streamline delivery pipelines and ensure security and compliance.
• Handle incidents, improve alerting systems, and maintain service uptime, collaborating with the infrastructure team.
• Leverage AI tools to review, debug, and optimize code.

About You

• 4-5 years of professional experience in cloud-native backend development.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data-intensive architectures, and scalability principles.
• Experience with Lean and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects.
• Excellent debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, asynchronous and real-time data pipelines.
• Experience tracking project outcomes via OKRs or KPIs, with a focus on continuous delivery and operational excellence.
• Experience with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Codeio, Cursor, or similar.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
