We’re seeking a full-stack engineer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. Here, you will take complete, end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. You’ll join a team working at the forefront of new technology, solving challenges that impact both front-end and back-end architecture, and ultimately delivering exceptional global user experiences.

You will be an internal and external evangelist for the product and will influence how Wallife remains competitive in the insurtech market by providing innovative solutions.

This role offers a tremendous opportunity to contribute to product development and rollout, requiring someone with strong motivation and a desire to work in an entrepreneurial, innovative, and fast-growing environment.

What you will do
  • Deliver advanced technology development and innovative functionalities, develop new proofs-of-concept, and assess emerging technologies across multiple disciplines of engineering and applied science.
  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and business growth.
  • Develop new features and infrastructure to support rapidly evolving business and project requirements.
  • Lead new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
  • Work within agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • 3+ years of experience in software application development.
  • Experience building web applications.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of React, C#, NodeJS, and TypeScript.

  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Profound understanding of standard software development paradigms, such as OOP and functional programming.
  • Strong adherence to clean code principles (SOLID).
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Collaborative team player with attention to detail when implementing designs.
