We’re seeking a fullstack engineer who is eager to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that constantly pushes boundaries. You will take complete, end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Our ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack, with a strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple backend languages. You will join a team working at the forefront of new technology, solving challenges that impact both front-end and back-end architecture, and delivering exceptional global user experiences.

You will be an internal and external evangelist for the product, influencing how Wallife remains competitive in the insurtech market and continues to provide innovative solutions.

This role offers a tremendous opportunity to contribute to product development and rollout, requiring someone motivated and eager to work in an entrepreneurial, innovative, and fast-growing environment.

What you will do
  1. Deliver advanced technology development and innovative functionalities, including proofs-of-concept and feasibility assessments of emerging technologies across engineering and applied science disciplines.
  2. Build highly scalable distributed solutions across the full stack to enable positive user experiences and business growth.
  3. Develop new features and infrastructure to support emerging business and project needs.
  4. Lead new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
  5. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
  6. Work within agile methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing ongoing learning opportunities.
  7. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You'll be great for this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software application development.
  • Experience building web applications.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of React, C#, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
  • Practical experience with AWS services.
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development paradigms like OOP and functional programming.
  • Commitment to clean code practices (SOLID principles).
  • Flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Collaborative team player with attention to detail in design implementation.
