Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Tech team. This role offers an opportunity to drive innovation in the mental health market.

Responsibilities

• Guide the design and development of complex, scalable, and efficient software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and data scientists to solve technical business problems.
• Lead and proactively contribute ideas, challenge existing concepts, and suggest improvements.
• Identify and address trade-offs in technical architectures and code throughout the development process.
• Participate in discussions on software specifications and strategic technology directions.
• Support and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
• Enhance system observability through metrics, logs, traces, and other data tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Curiosity about business, product, and user behavior; understanding the 'why' behind builds.
• Enjoy solving business problems collaboratively using technology.
• Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript programming.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud tools such as queues, events, and Lambda functions.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI / CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience with test frameworks.
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.

This is a fully remote position , with occasional travel within Italy.
