Additive, based in Bolzano, is seeking a skilled Backend Developer. The role involves designing and optimizing proprietary software using technologies such as PHP and Laravel. Candidates must possess in-depth programming knowledge, particularly in PHP frameworks, and should be adept in working with databases such as PostgreSQL.

We are looking to onboard immediately or by arrangement. Candidates must be able and willing to work on‑site at our offices in Bolzano, Lana, or Innsbruck. A hybrid work model is possible, but regular in‑person presence several times per week is required. Depending on your qualifications, we offer a gross salary of up to €8,000.

Responsibilities

• Designing, optimizing, and continuously enhancing our in‑house developed ADDITIVE+ SOFTWARE (CRM, vouchers, landing pages, and newsletters, marketing automation software) using PHP and Laravel or Ruby on Rails.
• Integrating external systems and interfaces, with a particular focus on property management systems (PMS).
• Profound analysis and processing of streaming data and database tables.
• Write self‑sustaining, high‑quality code with extensive test coverage.
• Act as a source of inspiration and contribute innovative ideas for new solutions, fostering ongoing knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Must Haves – Qualifications & Experience

As a Backend Developer, you bring both a passion for programming and extensive professional experience in application development using PHP frameworks, showcasing your deep understanding of backend systems. You also have solid knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL), REST/JSON/XML interfaces, and version control systems (Git).

Excellent English or German skills, a hands‑on mentality, goal‑oriented, self‑reliant work style, strong analytical skills, reliability and flexibility. You are a team player who impresses with your commitment and adaptability.

We reimburse all journeys by public transport in South Tyrol and Tyrol. All offices have direct access to public transport, and we provide free parking spaces in Bolzano and Lana. Employees may also work remotely if needed.
