Back End Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test the back-end elements of web applications.
2. Architect web and application solutions, design and model APIs.
3. Provide support to front-end Software Engineers on solutions, problem-solving, and setting processes and standards.
4. Ensure the cloud product meets technical standards for scalability, security, and performance, aligning with modern practices.
5. Participate in an Agile/Scrum team and provide analysis.
6. Engage in process improvement activities to release the highest quality, world-class software on time.

About you:

1. Strong knowledge of Node.js, Go, WebSockets/REST APIs.
2. Strong knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational databases.
3. Proficiency with Agile/Scrum software methodologies.
4. Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

Other beneficial knowledge/experience:

1. Web development, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, JavaScript (ECMA5), Angular, and ReactJS.
2. Familiarity with modern UI and design standards.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in an embedded environment.
4. Experience with mobile application frameworks, such as React Native.
5. Proficiency in the programming language Python.
6. Experience with embedded systems, Linux Embedded operating systems, and Linux-based development tools.
