About the role

We have an exciting opening for a Senior Backend Engineer capable of seeing the big picture and balancing software quality with a pragmatic approach to help us scale. If you're proactive, creative, hands-on, and eager to improve Sequra's product with ownership and collaboration, this is the place for you. You will have the opportunity to contribute to technical and architectural decisions and help us grow by creating new teams.

Job requirements

What you'll do

Main requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Experience with web-based applications development, deployment, and maintenance, especially with Ruby on Rails (experience with Javascript, Elixir, Kotlin, Java, or Python is valued).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, clean coding, TDD, and agile methodologies. Functional programming and DDD are pluses.
• Proficiency in English.
