Main requirements

For this position, the ideal Rhino should have :

• At least 8 years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer with proven expertise in Azure;
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, focusing on cloud-native development and deployment;
• Extensive knowledge of Azure platform, architecture, and best practices, including Azure services like AKS, networking, storage, and Kubernetes deployment;
• Solid understanding of cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes management, networking, and security;
• Experience with open-source tools in Kubernetes environments (FluxCD, Kong, Linkerd) and their Azure integration;
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines, GitOps principles, and tools like GitHub Actions, integrated with Kubernetes and Azure;
• Knowledge of SDLC, secure CI / CD practices, and Agile methodologies;
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform for Azure and Kubernetes deployments;
• Programming skills in Go, C#, JavaScript, Python, and scripting in Bash or Shell;
• Understanding of UX and DevX concepts for designing user-friendly cloud platforms;
• Strong security knowledge and zero-trust principles;
• Fluency in English (B2 / C1 level);
• Availability to work remotely from Portugal.
