MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking an Azure Integration Developer to join the IT Development team in Italy. You will design, develop and maintain cloud-based and on-premises integration solutions using Azure services, BizTalk, and modern DevOps practices.

The role involves collaboration with international teams, technical estimation, and adherence to coding standards while contributing to the modernization of MSC's integration landscape.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and related services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server, including schemas, maps, pipelines, orchestrations, and adapters.
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, XML, XSLT, JSON, REST APIs, and MS SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure monitoring tools; knowledge of API Management, Key Vault, and Azure Storage is appreciated.
• Knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and agile/hybrid integration is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork; able to work in international teams.

We are looking for an Azure Integration Developer to join our IT Development team.

The Azure Integration Developer supports the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions across cloud-based and on-premises environments, helping ensure reliable and efficient data exchange between systems and applications.

Working in alignment with corporate standards and technical guidelines, the role focuses on the development of integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus, while supporting the maintenance and evolution of existing Microsoft BizTalk Server applications.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the modernization of the company's integration landscape through a combination of software development, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal IT teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsabilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements, contributing to the design, development, testing, and implementation of integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps (Standard), Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and related Azure services.
• Support and maintain existing Microsoft BizTalk Server applications, including schemas, maps, pipelines, orchestrations, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues affecting Azure and BizTalk integration services, ensuring operational continuity and reliability.
• Contribute to the migration of existing BizTalk interfaces to Azure Integration Services, supporting technical analysis, development, and testing activities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source code versioning, and monitoring solutions using Azure DevOps and Azure monitoring tools.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and technical design guidelines.
• Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Analysts, and other stakeholders on technical estimations, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in software development and application integration, with good knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and related Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server, including schemas, maps, pipelines, orchestrations, and adapters.
• Good knowledge of C#/.NET, XML, XSLT, JSON, REST APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure monitoring tools; knowledge of API Management, Key Vault, and Azure Storage is appreciated.
• Knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, Agile methodologies, and hybrid integration architectures is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities; experience in technical estimation and knowledge of shipping or accounting processes are considered advantages.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in international teams, and excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.

The position will be classified within the Employee category, at one of the C2, C3, B1 or B2 levels under the Italian Metalworking Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).

The classification level and any additional remuneration components supplementing the base salary will be determined based on an assessment, carried out during the selection process, of objective and neutral criteria such as, by way of example, the candidate’s professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy and the responsibilities required by the role.
