In order to strengthen our Digital Transformation team, we are looking to hire an Azure Data Platform Engineer, based in Maranello (Italy).

The Azure Data Platform Engineer, as a Product Owner, is a team member who manages the entire product development process within an organization. She/he will research and determine stakeholder needs to decide which features to include in products and present ideas for product features to stakeholders. The Azure Data Platform Engineer will then continue to serve as the primary contact between the product development team and stakeholders.

In addition to these responsibilities, she/he will oversee the operational aspects of the data platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance. She/he will coordinate with various teams to monitor the platform's health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data workflows. She/he will also guide the technological evolution of the platform, identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing new technologies to enhance its capabilities. By working closely with the business and product development team, she/he will ensure that products meet specific objectives as outlined by stakeholders and customers.

Main Responsibilities

1. Manage the Data Platform maintenance service
2. Collaborate with potential internal/external stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
3. Create a product roadmap based on the needs of the company
4. Product backlog management and prioritization based on evolving requirements
5. Drive the evolution of the data platform in terms of services, flow integration and data perimeter
6. Govern the projects and delivery activities of the data platform, managing times, costs and evaluating the progress of the product at each stage of the process
7. Work with the product team and end users to deliver updates.

Required Profile

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Degree in Computer Science or similar field. You will have gained at least 3+ years Proven experience as a Data Platform lead or similar experience.

Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, Scrum, Agile Software Development Methodology and PowerBI are mandatory to manage the activities. Demonstrated track record of ownership and leadership in data platform and data management are required. Knowledge of Data Mesh paradigm is considered a plus.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Fluent English is required.
