Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to drive AWS Data Platform projects. You will collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, transform data, cleanse, convert, and load data into data lakes for analytics and ML models.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred), with strong Big Data architecture knowledge and hands-on AWS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AWS experience preferred.
• Strong background in Big Data architectures and cloud-native environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS/EKS a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless approaches.
• Solid security practices with IAM Roles, KMS, etc.
• Experience migrating workloads to AWS and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK.

Responsibilities

• Understand current application infrastructure and propose changes.
• Define and document best practices for deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Migrate infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable setup.
• Set up a monitoring stack (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
• Define service capacity planning strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CD/CI tools.
• Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.
