The role involves defining technical engagements, participating in AWS projects, and collaborating with teams to provide robust cloud solutions. DXC Technology Italy is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join the ITO & Cloud offering.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, including visits, understanding requirements, proposing, and delivering solutions.
2. Participate in short on-site projects demonstrating AWS services to support distributed computing solutions, involving migration and development of applications using AWS cloud services.
3. Collaborate with business development and support teams to utilize the full spectrum of AWS services (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, ML, etc.).

Requirements:

• Strong technical and analytical skills with significant IT implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT compliance and risk management (security, privacy, etc.).
• Customer-facing skills for client discussions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification.
• Proven experience in implementing AWS services in distributed environments.
• Experience integrating AWS with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP, etc.

Work location: Rome with smart working possibilities.
