AWP Construction Engineer

Position Overview:

The AWP Construction Engineer collaborates and assists the AWP Champion or AWP Group Leader to implement Construction AWP Methodology and deliverables and to support Project and Site teams during all phases. The position is meant to be assigned to international projects and abroad sites. It is an essential requisite to have availability to spend construction project periods abroad.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Participate during the definition of the Project AWP plan, together with the AWP Champion, and participate in the related implementation as requested by the AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader;
2. Participate in the development of Path of Construction and Construction Schedule, following up the relevant Action list;
3. Prepare project documentation related to AWP, gathering information from other relevant technical disciplines for further finalization with the AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader;
4. Set up the tools managing AWP within the assigned project/s and prepare the information flow on EWP and PWP for the related application on the Site;
5. Assist AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader in monitoring the AWP implementation within the AWP Project Plan;
6. Support AWP Champion and AWP Group Leader for Advanced Work Packaging practices and procedures, for the continuous improvement of the methodology;
7. When relocated at Site, participate in the implementation of AWP Methodology, under the coordination of the AWP Champion, Site Manager, and Construction Manager;
8. Guarantee the actual data flow (IWP produced by subcontractor) is reported to Project Control.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

1. Good level of English;
2. Additional foreign language is a plus;
3. Knowledge of EPC multidisciplinary activities;
4. Knowledge of the principle Oil & Gas construction sequences, preferably gained in the EPC projects sector;
5. Availability to be temporarily relocated abroad when required by the project is a must.

Experience:

1. Experience in EPC projects;
2. International assignments at site is a plus;
3. 2-3 or more years of experience in similar positions is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Organization, analytical approach, and abstraction and synthesis skills;
2. Good use of IT tools and Office Suite;
3. 3D Modeling Software;
4. Communication and interaction skills with professionals of different training.
