Job Description

Sompo has a unique opportunity for an experienced Marine Underwriter in our Milano office.

Within our growing Italian team, this role will work closely with the Head of Marine Underwriting for Italy, making a significant contribution to the growth and expansion of our Marine portfolio.

What you'll be doing :

• Support the positioning of Sompo as an increasingly significant player in the local Marine market
• Assist in the optimization of the Marine portfolio
• Innovate and contribute to the development of a forward-thinking local underwriting strategy
• Establish and strengthen relationships with key brokers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to fuel growth
• Support the development of Marine products
• Collaborate on defined projects in a growing and friendly team
• Foster a culture of innovation by actively sharing ideas within the Continental Europe Marine community
