Leonardo SpA, a leading aerospace group, seeks a Flight Management Engineer within Avionic Systems Development. You will analyze requirements, design embedded software for the Flight Planning and Sensor Management functions, and coordinate cross-functional teams across development, testing, and certification activities.
The role requires a degree in a technical field, strong problem solving, good English, and experience with real-time safety-critical software.
Competenze
- Bachelor-level technical degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Strong problem solving and customer-focused mindset.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Project management skills or willingness to develop them.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and standards.
Mansioni
- Analyze customer needs and define subsystem SW requirements for embedded, real-time apps.
- Collaborate with dev teams to design solutions within plans, standards and constraints.
- Coordinate activities to develop and qualify the software for the Flight Management System.
- Interface with suppliers for outsourced work and platform procurement.
- Lead development and verification teams and manage schedule, costs, and resources.
- Contribute to design reviews and certification audits.
