Job summary

Elliott Aviation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source aircraft parts and materials, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favorable terms to support MRO operations. You will coordinate with maintenance, materials, shipping, and finance to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and inventory visibility.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in purchasing, ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and a practical, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience using ERP systems in a business environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Moline, IL.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure aircraft parts and materials from approved vendors to support MRO operations.
• Place purchase orders promptly based on parts order sheet submissions.
• Ensure timely follow-up on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and backorder resolutions.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery.
• Escalate pricing discrepancies, shortages, and delays in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate warranty claims and core return activity with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records within ERP and MRO systems.
• Support inventory management efforts through min/max evaluations and inventory replenishment.
• Communicate expected delivery dates and potential shortages to internal customers.
• Track supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help achieve and maintain parts margin objectives on assigned work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
