GE Aerospace (Avio Aero) in Kuwait is seeking a Logistics Material & Fleet Manager to oversee assets logistics, accounting, and stock management, ensuring KPI fulfillment for contracted services. Role spans receipt, storage, packaging, import/export and shipment of assets with a 3-year minimum deployment.

Responsibilities include stock planning, replenishment coordination with Avio Aero partners, and compliance with export controls.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
• Capable of Technical Reporting.
• Familiarity with bespoke IT systems & tools (SAP, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain design & processes and key drivers for spares pool optimization.
• Knowledge of Fleet Management, modelling, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define stock buffer requirements and review based on in-service experience.
• Maintain records / monitors of deliveries and consumptions to allow management of assets and accurate database to support monitoring of contracted KPIs.
• Maintain Engines, Modules and LRI’s pool accounting.
• Coordinate replenishment demands with Avio Aero/Military Consortium Partner to maintain stock levels (POs and Procurement Requests).
• Liaise with agencies/companies/departments to fulfill Export/Customs/International Trade Compliance obligations.
• Arrange and manage transportation of materiel.
• Raise discrepancy reports of received material and lead resolution with the supplier.
• Monitor/Request preservation activities for materiel with shelf-life or checks, when mandated.
• Receive and fulfil Customer demands (exchange service).
• Coordinate & control movements of returned engine related items within Avio Aero/Military Consortium Partner.
• Manage materiel disposal per procedures.
• Manage quarantine store and container/STC exchanges.
• Contribute to cost accounting aspects connected to procurement under contracts.
