About the position:

We are seeking an experienced AV Installation & Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our technical readiness and customer engagement at Bang & Olufsen Flagship Store. If you’re passionate about technology and have excellent communication skills, we invite you to embark on this exciting journey with us.

Job Purpose: Providing technical solutions and pre-sale services to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales.

Key functions:

  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Bang & Olufsen products.
  • Conduct customer journey in the flagship during peak times or when sales staff are busy.
  • Deliver personalized top-class customer service by ensuring all equipment is fully operational
  • Provide hands-on support to educate and assist end users in connecting and operating their devices.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
  • Consult in depth all technical aspects of products and problems solving.
  • Local testing coordination: Organize local testing activities to validate the performance and effectiveness of B&O solutions.
  • Ensure all the solutions displayed in the B&O Milan Flagship and La Rinascente solutions are working as intended. Fix any technical issues as they arise.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights and feedback to help shape B&O solutions and services.
  • Participate in customer meetings and site visits to assess technical needs and provide solutions.
  • Provide excellent support to customers facing technical issues and coordinate product repair if needed.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Service Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of audio-video technology and home automation systems.
  • Competences and skills to provide top-class customer service.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and coherently.
  • Ability to provide presentations and conduct customer journey in the flagship store.
  • Analytical mindset: proficiency in analyzing complex data, making informed. decisions, and implementing process improvements.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Language Proficiency: English and Italian, enabling effective communication with our global team and customers.
