NTT DATA Romania is seeking a System Engineer to support automotive system development from concept to production. You will define requirements, architectures and interfaces to ensure safety, quality and traceability across disciplines.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical and validation teams and customers to ensure alignment with safety standards and project goals, while driving continuous improvement and lifecycle management.

Competenze

• Experience with requirements management, traceability and system development processes.
• Hands-on experience with DFMEA and FTA for safety-critical systems.
• Ability to coordinate with electrical, software, mechanical and validation teams.
• Experience with lifecycle management tools and automotive development processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end system engineering activities across automotive development programs.
• Define, analyze, document, and manage system and customer requirements.
• Ensure requirements traceability, consistency, completeness and alignment throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, interfaces, and functional concepts.
• Perform system safety, reliability, and risk analysis incl. DFMEA and FTA.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, mechanical, validation and other teams for integration.
• Act as technical interface for customers and stakeholders during reviews and clarifications.
• Manage development documentation, work items, configuration and traceability using lifecycle tools.
• Support Functional Safety and cybersecurity activities per automotive standards.
• Participate in design reviews, audits, and risk management activities.
• Assist in problem-solving and root-cause analysis for system-level issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system engineering processes.
