Lear Corp. in Italy is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across development and manufacturing in the automotive sector.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supplier teams to drive quality performance, lead APQP activities, manage FMEA and control plans, and support successful product launches.

Fluent English and Italian are required, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Competenze

  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP and development phases for product/process.
  • Proficiency with quality tools including FMEA, SPC, 8D and Pareto analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Fluent English and Italian with strong organizational skills.

Mansioni

  • Apply APQP methodologies to support development from concept through launch.
  • Lead quality planning activities and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Perform and facilitate FMEA reviews to identify risks and mitigation actions.
  • Analyze quality data using SPC, Pareto analysis to improve performance.
  • Investigate non-conformities and lead 8D problem solving.
  • Review drawings and specifications to verify quality and manufacturability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical quality documentation including control plans and records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
