Kineton in Torino, Italy, is seeking a motivated MBD Engineer to design, develop and validate control software for automotive systems, applying model-based methodologies across the full software lifecycle.

You will use MATLAB/Simulink with Stateflow, work on MIL/SIL and unit tests, automate builds with Embedded Coder, and collaborate with hardware teams. Fluent English required; salary range €34,000–€40,000 depending on experience.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years of model-based design experience
Expert knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/Embedded Coder/Stateflow
Experience in e-mobility powertrain and HV components management
Fluent English proficiency

Mansioni

Model-Based Development: design and develop application logic and control algorithms using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow following the V-cycle process.
Software Generation & Build: manage automatic code generation via Embedded Coder and toolchain-based build processes.
Verification & Validation: perform MIL/SIL/Unit testing to ensure logic correctness.
Automation: develop scripts (Python or MATLAB) to automate development and CI processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: support board bring-up and debugging with hardware and electronics teams.
Requirements Analysis: translate system requirements into executable models and robust test cases.
