Responsibilities

• Research and analyze trends, materials and technology to create innovative solutions.
• Develop innovative design proposals for BYD concept and production cars, from creative brainstorming to complete design solution and presentation.
• Collaborate with different teams to complete all steps of concept or product development.
• Support design projects of headquarter when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive or Transportation Design.
• Ability to propose and present innovative design solutions from 2D sketches and rendering, as well as to translate them into 3D form. Proficiency in 3D rendering and animation tools will be a plus.
• Always willing to engage with and learn new things, capable of using emerging tools like AI to assist in design.
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
• Show reliable, dependable and professional team work spirit.
• Be comfortable with occasional international travel.
• Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English.
