A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking an Automotive Energy System Engineer in Bologna. The role involves supporting the electrics/electronics division through various development activities, ensuring compliance with market requirements, and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and proven experience in the automotive field, particularly with energy-related ECUs.
Competenze
- Degree in Electric/Electronics or related engineering.
- Experience in automotive electrics/electronics for OEM or Tier 1.
- Ability to manage project documentation and present to stakeholders.
Mansioni
- Participate in development activities from concept to market.
- Define and maintain product specifications.
- Oversee vehicle integration tests and support issue resolution.
Conoscenze
Knowledge of automotive product development processes
Experience in electrics/electronics engineering projects

Automotive Energy System Engineer*

This will make you grow:
- Participation to development activities, from concept phase until market introduction;
- Definition and maintenance of product specification and requirements;
- Development, testing, validation and maintenance of the different antennas including certification status for different markets;
- Support the energy management architecture, market certification requirements definition, ensuring compliance with regulations and homologation achievement;
- Track SW implementation and manage SW releases and ensure proper software functionality while maintaining documentation and change request management
- Oversee vehicle integration tests, review test results, and support issue resolution with Homologation, Production, Quality and After Sales departments.
- Collaboration with customers resources involved in the project for design, revision and approval of contents;
- Collaboration with external stakeholders (suppliers, service provider) in order to meet project specific quality and timing targets;
- Management of project documentation, reports and periodical presentation to different stakeholders;
And this is how you'll take us forward:
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electric/Electronics, or related engineering;
- You have proven experience in electrics/electronics engineering projects preferably in the automotive environments for OEM or Tier 1 and on Energy-related ECUs;
- You have knowledge of automotive product development processes, vehicle architectures, vehicle bus (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet) and automotive technologies;
- You have experience dealing with complex cross functional teams: must have the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced configuration while balancing multiple demands and shifting priorities;
- You have good proficiency with English language;
- You have the right mix of passion for automotive, electronics and innovation and you can’t wait to leave your sign into the technological development of the automotive market of the future;
