For important customers in the Automotive Branch, we are seeking an Electrical Architecture Engineer with experience in the Automotive area.
ELECTRICAL ARCHITECTURE / WIRING HARNESS DEVELOPMENT
In the area of System Architecture, main tasks and responsibilities of the job include:
- Collecting all the documentation to develop Wiring Diagram (loads table, connectors, pinouts)
- Defining, developing, and dimensioning the wiring diagrams according to the Design Standards (focused on Fuses and wires according to the components' load values)
- Collecting the Platform information (Program Planning/Trim level grid/Cost and weight Target)
- Working closely with Engineering Specialist Project Chief in order to schedule all the activities
- Determining the best solution in terms of costs/quantity of part numbers (Complexity) in accordance with Product Manufacturing
- Performing FMEA of project
- Making improvements to vehicles in response to virtual and physical test feedback
- Providing technical advice and answering queries from clients
- Creation and management of Design Change Request (DCR) related to modification during all the phases of the Program
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of electric drives and electronic devices
- Knowledge of automotive electronics and related integration issues
- Knowledge of Excel program
- CAD competence for electronic and electromechanical devices
- Tools and process knowledge: Visio, Capital Harness, Zuken, Vobes Process (not mandatory)
SOFT SKILLS:
- Ability to work in a team and to organize complex tasks
- Focus on technical details
- Ability to work in multi-cultural teams
- Good problem-solving capability
- Fluent in Italian and English are mandatory
- German (even basic) is appreciated but not mandatory
EDUCATION:
Technical EE Degree (electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering or similar academic courses)
