Job Description:

QuEST Global Engineering is a trusted global partner providing product engineering services and solutions to leading companies across various industries including Aero Engines, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Medical Devices, Oil & Gas, Power, Industrial, Rail, Semiconductor, Consumer Electronics, and Software & Internet. We are strengthening our Automotive Department for an important project based in Turin, Italy, and are recruiting for the position of CS/SU Engineer.

In this role, you will be part of a Supercar OEM program, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the CS/SU process for IVI systems.

The role involves consultancy in cybersecurity projects aligned with ISO/SAE 21434, UN/ECE R155, and UN/ECE R156 standards; conducting threat analysis, risk assessments (TARA), and vulnerability analyses; refining system architecture based on cybersecurity requirements; and designing cybersecurity controls such as secure boot, secure diagnostics, secure communication, key management, HSM, Firewall, IDPS, and PKI infrastructure.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):
  • Experience in Automotive IVI System Engineering (minimum 3 years)
  • Hands-on experience in designing cybersecurity-compliant IVI systems and software update procedures
  • Experience in threat analysis, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis
  • Knowledge of standards R155/156 and ISO 21434 documentation for automotive ECUs
  • Understanding of cybersecurity lifecycle and development processes
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity assessments and audits
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Experience working with global, cross-cultural teams
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of vehicle network topology and interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, Flexray, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS
  • Experience with tools like EA, DOORS, Jira, Vector CAN tools
  • Good understanding of operating systems, RTOS, and IVI system platform software
