Role

For increasing our QA and Test tooling development team in Florence, we are looking for candidates with strong experience in Test Automation to join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including firmware, software and hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks for various products (amplifier, desktop software, webapp, mobile app).
• Implement and maintain automated test suites for regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for automation and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on findings.
• Identify performance issues and bugs early in the development lifecycle and work with teams to resolve them.
• Document test cases, procedures, and outcomes for ongoing reference and improvement.
• Continuously optimize existing automation processes to maximize testing efficiency.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestComplete, TestNG, or Cypress
• Ability to translate requirements into automated test cases.
• Experience in C# programming language
• Proficiency in languages such as Python or JavaScript is definitely a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP / IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with network performance testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, iperf)
