Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

All about the role :

As a maintenance manager, you will develop and implement solutions for preventive maintenance and ensure prompt solutions to maintenance issues in a safety, lean, and green environment.

What you will do :

You will report operationally and functionally to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and lead the Maintenance Team. You will also support the Engineering Manager to define the Maintenance budget and collaborate with Central Teams, e.g., participation in Central Manufacturing Engineering, Green Spirit, Safety, and other activities.

In detail, you will :

• Ensure that safety rules are known and respected.
• Define Maintenance strategies, guidelines, and objectives, controlling the implementation.
• Plan Maintenance activities and coordinate them (internal and external).
• Provide guidelines for the necessary spare parts and equipment to ensure availability according to business requirements.
• Participate in developing new equipment specifications to ensure continuous improvements.
• Participate in acceptance testing of new equipment.
• Create master data for all equipment in the maintenance system.
• Define strategies for lean management of Maintenance tasks.
• Participate in defining strategies and criteria for managing contractors.
• Share and implement best practice solutions locally.
• Perform technical and commercial risk assessments related to maintenance.
• Introduce and monitor performance indicators for Maintenance.
• Control costs within maintenance responsibility aligned with the annual budget.

Who you are :

• Technical Degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance roles and 3 years in leadership positions.
• Experience in safety and risk management.
• Knowledge of lean management.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Where you’ll be :

You will be based at Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour from Venice, during a multimillion Industry 4.0 investment. You will interact with various functions such as Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain to create the refrigeration of the future.
