Overview

Automation Hardware Technical Support Europe

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Technical Support Specialist remote-based in Italy or in Germany. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms. You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention, train our customers and our Service Engineers, support our Applications Team, and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to support the overall commercial organization.

Responsibilities
  • Operate independently in the Italian / Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight travel as required) to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and standalone laboratory environments.
  • Work as part of a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive experienced technical support.
  • Verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to support the overall commercial organization.
Qualifications
  • Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market.
  • Early careers are welcome but with troubleshooting experience gained during thesis or internships.
  • Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in the whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

  • Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problems and find effective solutions.
