Job summary

Sidel S.p.A. is seeking a skilled Automation professional to support on-site installation, commissioning and final testing of End Of Line equipment at Customer plants, with a focus on automation. The role involves back-office support to the Field Team and requires strong communication in English.

Willingness to travel up to 90% and a background in end-of-line equipment, installation, and commissioning are essential. Proficiency with Siemens PLCs, HMI ZenOn, and Fanuc robotics is highly valued.

Qualifications

Electrical fundamentals and safety knowledge.
Experience with end-of-line machines.
Willingness to travel up to 90%.
Experience with installation and commissioning on equipment.
Knowledge of Siemens PLC, S7/SCL/TIA Portal is required.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, start-up commissioning and final test of the Sidel EOL equipment at Customer site, specialized on Automation profile.
Develop understanding of Customer needs to provide objective advice and ensure Customer satisfaction.
Test and evaluate equipment performance based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
Properly handle, check and transfer all non-conformities.
Execute RCA on automation issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare job progress chart and technical weekly report.
