Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for the site IACS (Industrial Automation and Control System) maintenance and engineering activities, including new system design, system development, cost reduction, research, and lifecycle support. Manage plant process control and safety systems to ensure safety, legal compliance, and proper process control.

Main Accountabilities:

• Develop, program, and manage existing industrial control and safety systems to enhance reliability and security of chemical processes.
• Assist manufacturing operations with automated systems problem-solving.
• Manage the safety lifecycle of safety systems to minimize process safety risks.
• Oversee IACS cybersecurity to meet company standards and ensure safe IT/OT integration.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, ensure spare parts availability, and manage procurement requests.
• Update documentation, manuals, and procedures, ensuring traceability and accuracy.
• Collaborate on budgeting, technical solutions, and project management for IACS-related projects.
• Optimize plant production through continuous improvement.
• Support electrical work management according to standards and legislation.
• Identify staff training needs in IACS and electrical areas.
• Ensure legal compliance with SHE regulations and public authority authorizations.
• Define and update site standards for control system design.
• Train operators on DCS usage and process control practices.
• Manage permits and ensure occupational and process safety.
• Maintain SHE-compliance across all activities.

Requirements & Knowledge and skills:

• 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Fluent Italian (C1) and English (B1).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of IACS; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Problem-solving, proactive, performance-focused, and organized.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and adapt.
