The Wood Group cerca un Junior Automation Engineer per la divisione Life Sciences a Milano, con progetti in Europa e a livello internazionale. Ruolo ibrido in un contesto multinazionale e multilingual.

Il candidato ideale è neolaureato o con 1–3 anni di esperienza, laurea in Automazione/Elettronica/Ingegneria Elettrica, fluente in inglese e italiano, disponibilità a lavorare in sedi/clienti o all’estero. Si offre sviluppo professionale e coinvolgimento in progetti di alto livello.

Competenze

• Laurea triennale/magistrale in Automazione, Elettronica o Ingegneria Elettrica.
• Fluente in Inglese e Italiano.
• Capacità di lavorare in team.
• Passione per l’automazione e le tecnologie emergenti.
• Disponibilità a lavorare presso siti/uffici clienti o in sedi Wood all’estero.

Mansioni

• Progettare i sistemi di automazione per i processi di produzione, HVAC e infrastrutture edilizie.
• Lavorare con il team di processo e ingegneria per garantire conformità ai bisogni del progetto.
• Mantenere budget e schedule sotto controllo.
• Coordina fornitori terzi coinvolti nella progettazione dell’automazione.
• Valutare tecnicamente offerte di fornitori/appaltatori di automazione.
• Monitorare avanzamento fornitori e follow-up sui loro progetti.
• Partecipare ai FAT di sistemi di automazione presso i fornitori.
• Gestire attività di costruzione e avviamento in sito dal cliente.

Wood is recruiting for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our Life Sciences division based in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.

The role.

The Automation Engineer will work on projects for international clients in a multinational and multicultural environment, learning the fundamentals of industrial Automation in Life Sciences and the working procedures of a large, international engineering company.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of Senior Colleagues, the key objectives for this role are:

• Design the Automation Systems for the production Process, the HVAC and the building infrastructure
• Work with the Process and Engineering Team to ensure that the Automation design is compliant with the Project needs and Client’s expectations
• Keep budget and schedule under control
• Coordinate the 3rd parties involved in the Automation design
• Carry out the technical evaluation of Automation Suppliers’ and Contractors’ bids
• Monitor the progress of the Automation Suppliers and Contractors and follow up their design
• Take part in the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) of the Automation systems at Suppliers’ premises
• Follow up Automation construction and start-up activities at Client’s site

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronic or Electrical Engineering
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Demonstrated capability to work in team
• Passionate about Automation and new emerging technologies
• Availability to work on assignment either at Clients’ sites / offices or in Wood Life Sciences offices abroad is a mandatory requirement

Compensation and compliance:

Contract & Classification

• Contract type: Permanent
• Collective Agreement (CCNL): Industria Metalmeccanica (CNEL C011)
• Job Classification level: Impiegato, consistent with role requirements and applicable CCNL

Compensation

• Gross Annual Salary: the initial gross annual salary will be € 32,604.60, paid in 14 instalments
• The compensation package will include applicable CCNL elements and company benefits
• Variable pay and additional benefits will be detailed during the selection process
