AutoCAD Technician

We are looking for an AutoCAD Technician to join our team!

CAD Technician Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Project Management: Oversee production process to meet machine delivery deadlines
• Manage electrical/mechanical inventory needed for jobs in production
• Draft drawings of machine parts using Inventor software
• Secure part quotes from machine shops per drawing specifications
• Program CNC router to oversee in-house production of parts

CAD Technician Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of design experience using AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor software
• Minimum 2 years of programming experience using MasterCAM software
• Proficient in AutoCAD design and MasterCAM programming
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring process
• Knowledge of design and engineering principles
• Mechanically inclined with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

AutoCAD professional with CNC programming and operating experience to assist the Director of Engineering with all aspects of project design management. Experience with Inventor software is a plus!
